Gordon G. Potts, P.Eng - Profile

Gordon PottsGordon Potts is a professional engineer and sales executive with 15 years experience in the design, marketing and sale of capital equipment. His strong communication and negotiating skills have led to a proven track record of exceeding sales targets. His extensive domestic and international sales experience has resulted in a world-wide network.

Mr. Potts specializes in developing and marketing industrial gas equipment. His achievements include the development of a low-cost, compact hydrogen generator, establishment of a manufacturing joint venture in India and the recruitment, supervision and coaching of a successful sales team.

Mr. Potts holds a B.A.Sc. (Mechanical Engineering) from the University of Waterloo. He has served as a member of the Canada-India Business Council, Canadian Council for the Americas and The Alliance of Manufacturers and Exporters of Canada (International Trade Committee).

Sell industrial gas equipment and services in North, South and Central America.
Prepare cost estimates, proposals and contracts for the supply of capital equipment and technical service.
Negotiate equipment supply and technical service contracts.
Negotiate warranty claims.

Marketing:
Establish sales and marketing agents in overseas markets.
Evaluate new technologies or markets.
Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies.
Create and manage new product development programs.

Management:
Train sales and customer service professionals.
Customer support and project management from initial contact to after sales service.
Work with Government agencies and private investors to obtain funding for new projects.
